Sarah at Tai Chi class "Ah, Grasshopper"!

After having a hernia and thinking about my lack of balance and coordination I began to think about a form of exercise that I could practice that would be something that I could do at any age...

Not only that but I was thinking about other factors physical as well as economic... Then the government started offering Tai Chi for free to the community! Hey, my favorite price! They are incorporating it into the health plan of Brazil because of how it improves peoples quality of life and lowers blood pressure, and also helps with balance.

Sarah has been going with me on Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM and learning with me. It is a good way to get to know others in the community and to get your day going!

Our professor "Ivan" posing with Sarah is a real nice guy and is very kind with us. It is fun to spend Saturday mornings with this group.

Getting involved with Tai Chi has helped me to meet some folks that I would never meet at church...
